Let’s cut to the chase. I began working with clay in the winter of 2022 Blah Blah Blah.. My goal was never to create the perfect vessel, but rather to immerse myself in the entirety of the process.

Bowls just don’t become bowls they take a $h!T ton of practice. This clay has taught me the importance of timing and how critical it is to be present and responsive. Especially when things go south. Every stage apparently requires patience, specific skills, and determination. All of which I tend to lack at any given moment.

I’ve always been fixated with time.

Every mark I make is a committed choice. Some Better than others. I’ve learned that applying knowledge, tempered with wisdom, is more valuable than relying on the lesson. The lesson is not perfection, but rather to be present. Enjoy being Human …adopt a chicken!
